The Purpose of the ASPEN Community is to realize and promote the benefits of deploying the ASPEN format within IP-based broadcast and media facilities through integration and interoperability of this open format as defined in SMPTE RDD 37. Participation in the ASPEN Community will include conference calls, interoperability testing, and interoperability demonstrations.
